What We Offer

Therapy That Meets Your Child Where They Are

Every child and adult who walks through our door has a different story. Our team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists works together to build a plan around your family's actual needs -- not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Speech-Language Therapy

If your child struggles to be understood, has trouble putting sentences together, or is behind on talking milestones, we can help. We work with articulation, fluency, voice, and both receptive and expressive language.

Why Us

Why Families Stay With Us

Parents tell us they tried other places first. What keeps families here is pretty simple: our therapists are skilled, they genuinely care, and they communicate with you every step of the way.

Therapy in Your Language

We offer sessions in English, Spanish, Russian, French, Italian, Hebrew, Polish, and Farsi. Because therapy works best when your child -- and you -- can communicate naturally.

40+ Licensed Specialists

Our team includes SLPs, OTs, and PTs with advanced certifications. That depth means we can match your child with a therapist who has the right experience for their specific needs.

Infants Through Adults

We see babies who need early intervention, school-age kids working on articulation or reading, and adults recovering from stroke or illness. Your whole family can be cared for under one roof.

Grounded in Research

We use methods that have solid clinical evidence behind them. You'll understand what we're doing and why, and we'll track progress so you can see what's working.

Plans Built Around You

We start by listening -- to your concerns, your child's strengths, and what your family's daily life actually looks like. Then we build a plan that fits.

Founded by a Clinician

Julia Chernova, M.A., CCC-SLP, QOM, still treats patients and leads our clinical team. That hands-on involvement shapes everything about how we practice.

Common Questions

Questions We Hear a Lot

If you're wondering about something, there's a good chance other parents have asked the same thing.

What ages do you provide speech therapy for?
We work with everyone from infants and toddlers just starting to develop communication skills, to school-age children, to adults. With over 40 specialists on our team, we have therapists experienced in the specific needs of each age group.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept many major insurance plans. Since coverage varies, the easiest thing to do is call us at (201) 509-8205 and we'll help you check your benefits before your first visit.
What should I expect at the first appointment?
The first visit is an evaluation. Your therapist will spend time getting to know your child (or you), understanding your concerns, and assessing where things stand. After that, we'll talk through what we found and put together a clear treatment plan with specific goals.
Do you offer therapy in languages other than English?
Absolutely. Our therapists provide sessions in English, Spanish, Russian, French, Italian, Hebrew, Polish, and Farsi. For many families, being able to work in their home language makes a meaningful difference in how quickly their child progresses.
How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
Trust your instincts. If your child isn't hitting speech milestones, is hard for others to understand, has trouble following directions, stutters, or struggles with reading and writing, those are all worth looking into. An evaluation can give you a clear picture of where your child is and whether therapy would help.
Do you offer in-home or teletherapy sessions?
We know that getting to appointments can be one more thing on an already full plate. Give us a call at (201) 509-8205 or email office@speechtherapyplusllc.com and we'll talk through which options work best for your family and location.
